In The Book Trek, I travel to different destinations and read an assortment of literary works that are either set in those destinations or otherwise linked meaningfully with them. In this way, I hope to newly ‘read the world’ by exploring the relationship between literature and place.
What is the Book Trek?
The Book Trek is a project to redefine World Literature. I started it when I finished my PhD in English Language and Literature with a completed dissertation on travel writing and how it can encourage readers to re-invent the world.
